Spreading Gandhi's Message of Truth, Non Violence and Service through various activities at Government SPMR College of Commerce

In continuation of the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti week, Government SPMR College of Commerce organised an essay writing competition on work and life of Mahatma Gandhi and a seminar on "Nation Building'. Students enthusiastically took part in these competitions. In the competition Pranav Verma secured first position, Mehak and Aniket Shrivastava stood at second and third position respectively. These activities were organized by the Cultural and Literary Committee in collaboration with the NSS and NCC units, and the Anti-Tobacco Cell of the college.The event was held under the esteemed patronage of the Principal, Dr. Rajinder Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajinder Singh, Principal of the college, appreciated the efforts of the organizing committees and the active involvement of students. He further stressed on the role of such initiatives in instilling values of service, leadership, and social responsibility among youth.

The program was successfully coordinated by Dr. Deepshikha Sharma, Prof. Monika Mahajan, Dr. Madhu Bala, and Dr. Deepak Pathania, ensuring smooth execution and wide student engagements.
